Green Border

Today I was so incredibly busy that I didn't have time to stop and sew until 10.30pm. It was a day filled with meetings and laundry. I still have a load of whites sitting on my bed waiting to be folded, so this is going to be a short one tonight!

I had wanted to finish up the mini red quilt I showed you yesterday, so I went to my quilt room with that intention, then saw that I had run out of red thread! There went that brilliant plan. I looked around deciding what to do instead and saw the circle flower quilt top sitting there begging to be played with. I cut up some 1.5 inch strips and sewed an inner border to it.

I feel that that circular shapes on the green Kaffe fabric really play into the appliqued circle flowers on the quilt top. I'm still deciding what to do on the outside. For now it's just sitting in a wire basket waiting for some more play time with me!
