Inspiration Board Done

The 3 coats of hot pink paint finally dried and I was able to hang up my inspiration board in my quilt room. I decided to put it right above my ironing board so I can get inspired while ironing. Genius move, yes?! I will rotate my pictures on occasion so they don't get too stale, plus I have found my tastes definitely change and evolve over time, so what I like today may not be the same as tomorrow.

For now I have pictures of quilts my friend Anna has made, (you MUST go read her latest post about her grandparents - her grandfather studied and lived with Frank Lloyd Wright!), a picture of what looks to be the almost perfect quilt shop (I LOVE those orange walls with the bright folk art quilts all around!)...

The ultimate bed for a child, at least I would have loved it when I was younger. Wouldn't you just love to close those curtains and get engrossed in a good book?!

This has to be my favorite couch of all time...

I could die happy if I had that beautiful couch in my home! I know, it's not everybody's cup of tea, but it's definitely mine! Edit: I found the blurb that was next to the pic in the magazine and the couch is only $3500 form Anthropology. I'll have two please!

I especially like that the frame is the same paint I used on the TV stand. Hot pink satisfies the girly girl in me:)

The couch. Yep. I want that! It would so perfectly fit in my teal living room. The kud's bed. So darling. My girls would trade everything to have that. But when I saw my quilts!! Oh wow! How honored am I? Ok. Got to move on finishing those. You made my day.

I love the couch too. The quilts are fabulous with both color and pattern. A big wave to the waves, they really flow so nicely. The more color movement, the better. fond greetings from Dolores www.art-prints-paintings.com
