Basted

Today I cut and sewed on the borders for the mini quilt I started while on vacation in Utah. I then layered and basted it so now it's ready for quilting.

Sadly, or fortunately, I removed the stitching I had done on one of the flowers...

Don't worry, I'm going to put the stitching back in, but I thought it would be better to make the decorative stitching the quilting stitch, thereby killing two birds with one stone! I'd take out the stitches on the red leaves too but geesh that took a long time!
