Placemat number 3 is done! This time I went with a combo of yellow and pink, alternating each round.
So far I have this one, a blue one, and one done in red, green and purples.
3 down 3 to go. I'm loving my little placemat collection!
I am posting this early today as I am off to a farewell for my dear friend Shannon. Her family is moving an hour away, which isn't too far, but it's a lot further than the 10 minute drive now! I am so blessed to have crafty friends in my life. Shannon, Anna, Brenda, and Stacy are just a few of them. They inspire me to no end! Next week Stacy is coming up from Boston to stay for a few days and you better believe we are going to be hiding out in the quilt room getting our craft on!
If I was an hour away, I'd be at your doorstep at least twice/month! Can't swing it with being 8-9 hours away, sadly. :(

those placemats are such a great way to use up scraps! Love them. Are you reverse quilting them or quilting after they are pieced?
ReplyDeleteLove them, and that you chose to do different colors for each one. :)
ReplyDeleteLove those placemats - they would look awesome with my new Fiestaware dishes sitting on them - guess I'll have to make some for me. Thanks for the inspiration
ReplyDeleteDang those placemats are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI don't have your stash but as you guess they would kind of stand out if I put them in my kitchen LOL
